Welcome to ARC! 

Serving the co-op community in Riverdale and throughout NewYork City for more than 35 years the Association of Riverdale Cooperatives and Condominiums, Inc.  (ARC) is a domestic non-profit corporation, certified under section 402 of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law.  It was formed for the mutual advancement of the interests of its members engaged in the ownership and operation of buildings owned cooperatively or in condominium.

The Purposes of ARC are to

  • Serve as a clearinghouse for technical information on establishing, administering, maintaining or improving residential cooperatives and condominiums in Riverdale, Bronx, New York.  ARC also proudly extends its services and membership opportunity to co-ops and condos throughout the Bronx.
  • Promote through research, education, seminars, meetings or other appropriate means, a better understanding of all aspects of residential cooperatives or condominiums in our service area.
  • Engage in political action on those issues directly relating to residential co-ops and condos in our service area.
  • Develop services and programs to benefit, strengthen and improve the management and operation of residential co-ops and condos in our service area.

Membership

  • ARC represents all of the cooperatives and condominiums throughout Riverdale, Fieldston, Kingsbridge and other nearby areas of the Bronx.  See a listing of the buildings ARC represents here.
  • Any residential cooperative or condominium in our service area may become a member of this corporation by completing an application and paying the annual dues required.
  • Upon joining, a member building shall designate the individual (usually the Board president) who is authorized to represent the building for all purposes, including voting in ARC’s annual election.
